"I want to become a Designer that can design products or services that can make the lives of people better or healthier"

The designer in me wants to learn more about design and all its applications to master the design progress and apply it in the field of mental and physical wellbeing. However I have learned that a passion to create did not mend that this is also the career path that suits me the best. To develop myself more in the real world and to make a real impact on people, I have chosen to steer my professional career in another direction. I want to make an impact on people that are in need of help and interact with them and I want to serve the comunity that I live in. Therefore, I have found a job in emergency care. It does sometimes not even feel like only a rational choice but also more like a calling. However, I am sure that creativity, user centered thinking and personal development will come in handy in this job. And I do not know what the future will bring, but I believe that every organization in the Netherlands will experience benefits of a unique designer to shift their perspective and improve the organization.
